When my partner was in his last days in Hospice...he would get agitated... a drop or two of Frankincense on the collar of his pajama shirt would calm him. The small vial of Frankincense I had with me circulated thru the hospice halls...it was used on a lot of the patients there. Atlas Cedarwood, for spiritual courage. I know he was (up until the last 48 hours) very afraid of crossing over...a lot of folks are. Cedarwood can help. There are a couple of Case Studies in the Agora archives that apply here. This weekend we are attending a Jane Buckle training seminar in southern TN... As I recall, (but could be wrong!) one of the topics is care of terminal patients. remind me Monday to share my notes. I do remember from past conversations that she recommends The Journal of Aromatherapy Research had some articles in their last issue that may be useful, but it's at the office.
