Herbs for Gallbladder Problems?

I have a dear friend who is having problems with her gallbladder. I think she is

passing stones, and it is painful.

Does anybody have any suggestions for herbs to relieve the pain? Or a cleansing

and/or purging solution ? I have heard of websites that offer herbs for this

problem, but they charge an indecent amount of money to give you this

information. I have a book that would give this information, but we are moving,

and I cannot readily locate the book.

Any suggestions would be extremely helpful.

You may e-mail me privately at ravensara.

Thank you!

Peppermint, spearmint and other mints. Mints have traditionally been used

to treat gallstones. Brew a tea with as many mints as you can find from the

garden or store, peppermint and spearmint and any others. Add some cardamom.

From The Green Pharmacy by James A. Duke.
