Luckily for us the storm turned more to the and east before it made

landfall and it turned out to be a very minor event in our area. I hope

that the folks in the areas it hit hardest (Beaumont, Lake Charles, Port

Arthur, etc ..) can get their lives back to normal ASAP.

Our power was out for a good portion of the day yesterday, but Center

Point (our power company) did a good job of getting back up and running.

I'm spending today continuing to get the house back to normal and then

I've got work to get back to!

I want to thank everyone for showing so much love and caring for us :)

Glad to hear Chris that you all made it thru Rita without a lot of problems !!!

We were all worried about you ! Here in my neck of Texas we had a ton of rain

and high winds. We needed the rain and the cool temps yesterday were a nice

break from all this heat.

Well, back to life as usual !

Triffic news! Been watching and thinking of you and yours... Glad you're

safe, hale and hearty.... you guys got any gas in town yet? Heard you

couldn't buy the stuff for love nor money.

funny!
