Guest guest
When last we left the list mom she was infusing Extract Grade Madagascar Vanilla Beans in Virgin Coconut Oil ... She was quoted as saying " Well, I've been doing some vanilla playing, and this afternoon I put about 40 fl oz of VCO (Virgin Coconut) into my crock pot - added about 50 grams of the Madagascar extract vanilla beans (a little under 2 oz) that I split and cut into pieces and then put it on low. I turned it off once and turned it back on again. At the moment it has a NICE vanilla scent - not extraordinarily strong, but very noticeable. I'm going to leave it sit all night, probably turning it off right before I hit the hay and see how it is in the morning. Just wanted to share my ongoing experiment " As of this moment her experiment is still in her crock pot with the lid on. It was warmed on and off for that first and second days and then has been sitting cool ever since. It was reported as having a wonderful scent the first day and having an even more wonderful scent as time has been passing. While having a guest over to ride out the hurricane this past weekend she said " Hey, come here and smell this " to her guest. His response was " Wow, that smells like dessert! I love it " . So the conclusion of all this is that in a short amount of time you can get a wonderfully vanilla scented oil from infusing the Extract Grade Madagascar Vanilla Beans in oil! Guest guest
Do you think the vanilla scent would last thru CP soaping?
