Hi It's true name is Aglaia odorata, aka chinese lemon tree or peppery orchid tree. What you have is an absolute, since they don't make an EO of it. The absolute is made from the seeds, which smell like the flowers. It lends a zingy, high note to perfume blends. It is not used n aromatherapy. It should be diluted before blending. I have a pic of it on my natural perfumery group. It is blooming in my garden right now, tiny yellow blooms, so cute. It has only recently been sold in this country. Liberty natural and whitelotusaromatics (where I got mine) have it. Liberty spells the name wrong, so that is probably where your friend got theirs. Ah so, as I suspected. Thank you. Yes, I saw those websites and the different names used. Definately, flowery, yet subtle. I recently added some to a Frankensense, Myrrh, Peru Balsm, and Sandlewood blend I wear. Nice. Nice picture at the website. Again, Thanks.
