Guest guest
Hi Everyone: Natural Perfumery is a challenging art and requires a lot of time and discipline. It's also very rewarding and fun. It's the next step in the evolutionary path for many who love natural aromatics. Kathleen asked me to write an article on the subject for http://aromaticsage.com a few months ago, and you'll find a lot there about how it's a natural progress for aromatherapists. I've been hosting a natural perfumery group here on for over three years, and have known Chris and Butch for more than twice that long, so they can vouch for me. I'd like to invite members of this group who are interested in the art to come and join us on my group. Natural Perfumery now has almost 700 members and is the biggest, most informative group on natural perfumery going, with vast archives and Files and Links sections bursting with a fabulous repository of information. The group is founded on the ideals of sharing, education, ethics and the advancement of natural perfumery -- we've slowly built our membership the old way - by encouraging and helping members in a friendly, learning atmosphere ;-) You're welcome to join our group -- just let me know you came via Chris' list, and we'll pull up a seat for you. Be prepared to get drawn into the seductive aromatic world of concretes, absolutes, and rare and exotic aromatic raw materials as you explore natural perfumery. If you thought aromatherapy was addictive -- wait until you start blending perfumes for friends, family, or customers! Since many of you may be new to natural perfumery, I suggest you read through our resources first. It'll give you a head start and a good footing for this new adventure into the world of natural perfumery. A member even compiled a book list for newbies (and oldies), so you can start giving amazon.com (I recommend searching for used books first), half.com and ebay perfume book lists a look-see.) We're all at: Hope to see you there! http://naturalperfumery.com The Web's Premier site for information on Natural Perfume for a great discussion group
