Guest guest
Hi everybody, Finally a subject or two that I can actually post on instead of just " listening " all the time. To Sounder 8834, the best swirls I ever did with M & P came from titanium dioxide (water soluble) in a small amount of water dribbled over the poured soap and lightly swirled around. It didn't all sink to the bottom and the swirls were lacey and delicate looking. And to Bonnie, my lip balm labels are just Avery 5293 which are round 1 1/2 inch circles that fit really nice on the tube. I then put packing tape over it for a glossy surface that holds up well. Yes, I have to cut the tape and stick it on without wrinkles, but I'm getting good at it and people always compliment me. The packing tape is the perfect width. I don't use any shrink band. Another thing I do, since I print with a bubble jet is print a sheet of labels and spray with clear acrylic so they become water proof. I have to wait till the next day to use them so the stinky smell fades out. When I used the waterproof bubble jet labels they faded to a brown tone, kind of sepia. Kind of cool, but faded looking. I keep some of my jars forever and refill them over and over, like my bath salts, that may be the reason. My best to everyone, Laurel
