Workshop participants will learn a framework to create customized treatment plans for their patients based on the physical, emotional and spiritual aspects of these channels. To directly experience these channels we will practice Eight Extraordinary Channels Nei Gong (Qi Gong), which can enhance your direct experience of these channels and are a powerful personal cultivation and healing practice. Taoists and healers have used these Qi Gong practices for centuries. This workshop includes a practical and clear presentation of the Eight Extraordinary Channels for clinical practice, including Taoist theories and applications that can be applied in your clinical practice and your personal health cultivation. David Twicken, DOM, L.Ac., a faculty member at Chinese Medical Schools since 1994, David has taught Acupuncture courses, Philosophy of Oriental Medicine, Tai Chi Chuan, Medical Qi Gong, Feng Shui, I Ching, Chinese Astrology, Medical History and Secondary Vessels. David specializes in the Taoist Arts and has written a variety of books including Treasures of Tao, Feng Shui Made, Chinese Astrology, Introduction to Qi Men Dun Jia and I Ching Acupuncture.
