So to be more specific about my patients tongue. It is dry and lighter red and

almost peeled toward the front. While the rear is dry and cracked. He has

excruciating lumbosacral pain, worse at night and in the am. Also progressively

worsening leg cramps at night. Knee swelling and pain. Heartburn - mild. I guess

I am just writing this to clarify things in my own mind. Severe ki yin xu, with

some ki yang xu and damp, blood stagnation. I will let you know what herbal

formula I come up with and how things go.
