More on Shilajit … I have thought all along that the

shilajit has been mixed up with Wu Ling Zhi – Pteropus excrement.  In fact,

if you look in Dr. Yeung’s Handbook of Chinese Herbs you will see a picture of

a squirrel.            The idea of a pitch oozing out of a mountain

in the Himalayas sounds ‘groovy’.  This is picture of shilajit that I have

had over the few years that I have taken it.             The idea

of ‘mammel excrement’ is in the category of consuming reptiles, insects and

animal parts.  While in context of , vile may be too strong of

a word, at least I would consider these articles as something arcane - more

suitable for past era.

Hi Patrick and all:

-Patrick--

The idea of ‘mammel excrement’ is in the category of consuming reptiles,

insects and animal parts. While in context of , vile may be too

strong of a word, at least I would consider these articles as something arcane -

more suitable for past era.

I don't quite get the reasoning behind this, Patrick. Could you explain more?

Premarin, which used to be a workhorse (snicker) drug for biomed, is, to put it

plainly, horse p!ss. Leeches, that symbol of medieval medical majick, is the

source for Heparin, the most potent blood anti-coagulant known (to

biomedicine)...though further research may show greater promise in Mang

Chong...an " herb " that you'd have to take an " herb " to really recognise as an

" herb " .

Hugo :)
