due to the current recession and terrible economy, my husband has been out

of work for the past year and it has come to the point where we are

relocating back to ny. i am writing to see if anyone out there will be

interested in buying my acupuncture practice. it is located on nantucket,

ma and i work out of a thriving chiropractors office. the office was just

built as a green building a year ago and houses 2 chiropractors and several

massage therapists. the chiropractor i rent the room from has been in the

business for more than 20 years and has a very loyal and busy practice. the

room was specifically built for me to be able to incorporate moxa in my

practice. both chiropractors refer acupuncture heavily in their practice so

in addition to getting my patient files you will be part of an integrative

practice.

 

because i have a small child i was only able to work part time but the

business can be as quiet or busy as you want it to be. it has been growing

steadily for the past 4 years and the potential is great. nantucket is

mainly a summer resort for billionaires so the summer is when you will be

the busiest but i have managed to stay steady throughout the year with

mostly year-round clients. it is a small community so word of mouth will

lead to many referrals for you.

 

we are leaving the island mid-march so i realize this is a shot in the dark

but thought i would put the word out there to see what happens. please
