MRI scan shows that there is degenerative changes seen in lumbar vertebrae & the patient has been operated for the same problem 15 yrs back. Guest guest Posted March 19, 2010 Report Share Posted March 19, 2010 Needle the jia jie points of the affected vertebrae and the points 1 cun lateral with e stim on rapid disperse, needle bl40 and bl60 stimulate those until de qi is felt. Apply tui na to stretch out the vertebrae space align the vertebare left/right and take the pressure off the nerve. You can get a lot of relief with acupunture but if the problem is degenerated discs its hard to grow them back, long term treatment to boost kidney yin and yang and spleen yang, san jiao function is needed, this will boost the jin and ye of the discs, moxa sp shu, kidney shu, ming men, points like rn 4 deep to the peritonium, kd7, 3, sp3, do marrow points deep gb 39, l.i. 16, du 20.
