Guest guest
Hi, I am treating a 35 year old woman prior to her 3rd IVF. I treated her prior to her 2nd IVF and she had a healthy daughter in January 2009. She came back for treatment a few months ago and her 3rd IVF was delayed due to hyperstimulation. It is actually her husband who has the western diagnosis of poor morphology. He won't come in for treatment. Patient has tight pulses and a pale tongue with a red tip. Her lifestyle is fairly healthy, but stressful and she is a chronic worrier with some insomnia. I treated her weekly with acupuncture(5 Element, Fire and Earth constitution and TCM fertility points). Any fertility experts or others have insight/TCM differention on IVF hyperstim.? I will see her again tomorrow and think they have resceduled the IVF for April with frozen embryos? How do I help her avoid another hyperstim.? Thank you! Lisa
Guest guest
Hi Lisa, You could give her P6 & Sp6 bilaterally for next 3 sessions. This will regularize her hyperstimulation. For insomnia give her St36 & Du20. Best regards, Dr. Shahzad Anwar. www.cpfirst.org Hi, I am treating a 35 year old woman prior to her 3rd IVF. Guest guest
If they are using frozen embryos, they wont be going through stimulation, so no worries! They will just be implanting them. Piece of cake. Fiamma Posted by: " lisafo1 " lisafo1 lisafo1 Mon Mar 22, 2010 3:04 pm (PDT) Hi, I am treating a 35 year old woman prior to her 3rd IVF.
