The FDA seeking to ban herbs (and supplements) is not paranoia, it is fact. We need to protect our medicine and define our parameters as a profession. We need to determine how we as a profession should interact with " managed care " ie, insurance corporations. We need collective strength as a profession and that means we need everyone's active participation and caring. Meanwhile thanks for the discussion, for the research, for the information.
