Guest guest
Greg, Yes.. I've read this book, which makes a good case to eat like the Chinese. I have it in my waiting room. Here's another perspective of the book http://www.westonaprice.org/The-China-Study-by-T.-Colin-Campbell.html The presence of casein, a milk protein was the " on-off switch " for the cancers studied. Guest guest
A great book! I think it asks all the right questions and gives all the right data about diet and health. . Guest guest
It's a great book which somehow manages to delete the reasons why the Chinese eat like they do - their medical science, for example. Unfortunately it's not as simple as eliminating milk protein or animal protein, although having more than 20% protein in the diet raises the risk for cancer from between 4x to 100x. There are many factors in the causation of cancer, but diet is a far bigger one than modern orthodoxy would want to admit. According to Campbell, diet is a much bigger factor in the generation of cancer than pollution / environmental toxicity is.
