My name is Craig E. Mitchell. I am currently

the Chair of the Department of Herbal Medicine

at the NY College for Wholistic Health Education

and Research. I teach primarily within this department,

although I also do some teaching in fundamental

theory and diagnosis classes. I taught previously at

Pacific College in Manhattan. I just recently published

an annotated translation of the Shang Han Lun

through Paradigm Publishing with Nigel Wiseman

and Feng Ye. I am actively involved in translation

and issues regarding the transmission of Chinese

medicine to the West. I do not currently have an

outside private practice, although I do see patients

in one of the school clinics. I graduated from

the American College of Traditional , SF,

back in 1993. Oh, I also spent three years in

Taiwan, studying Chinese and Chinese medicine,

after I graduated from school. That's a bit rambling,

but I think it includes most of the important stuff.

Hi Todd

I sent a letter requesting entry to the herbal academy. Since I am now taking

your online course, I do not know if you need my credentials again. However:

I graduated from NESA in AUg of 98, Licensed in Mass, and work out of

Marlboro, Ma.

Thanks

Hello, Todd. Thank you for the opportunity to join the traditional chinese herbs

discussion group.

I received my license as an Acupuncture Physician here in Florida this past

April. While my practice gets going, I continue my work as a graphics artist

for my family's sign shop. I also have been studying Wu style tai chi since

the early 1970's and I also paint in the traditional Chinese brush style. I

am certified in Acupuncture (NCCAOM) but not yet in herbs. I hope to be able

to contribute cases and comments to the discussion group.

thanks.
