Hi

I am glad I found you again. I enjoyed the messages you posted on

Paracelsus. You may or may not remember, but you answered one of my

questions on Paracelsus.

Anyway, as requested I will tell a little bit about myself. My Name is

Malino Khun. I Graduated from the Midwest Center For the Study of Oriental

with a Certificate in Acupuncture. I also have a Bachelor of Science in

Health Administrations. I became certified in acupuncture (NCCAOM) in July,

1999. Currently, I work at Whole Foods Market (Wheaton, IL), Nutrition

Dept. So not only do I have a background in Chinese herbology, but I have

training in western herbalism, nutritional supplements, and a minor

understanding of ayurvedic herbs. I also have a minor interest in spagyrics

(plant alchemy), and shamanic herbalism. Chinese medicine is my main mode

of thinking, and my first love, but I do dabble in other systems. Right now

I am transitioning in a private practice of acupuncture, while I work at

Whole Foods. Eventually I want to be a full-time practitioner, and leave

the world of retail.

My way of doing acupuncture is mainly an eclectic blend of different

systems; it is mainly Chinese based, with an infusion of other

practitioner's personal systems and a dash of French School.

I consider myself to be a person who studies systems, theories, concepts,

ideas, and hypothesis; I try to apply on a practical level, what I learn

from studying different schools of thought.

That's it as far as me. I hope this list is as good as I think it will be.

Thanks,

Malino Khun, Dipl.Ac.

PS-

I will be attending the Pacific Symposium(San Diego) and AAOM conference

during November 1999. Say hi to me, if you are going to be at the

conference or symposium.
