Guest guest
the ginseng file link below has now been formatted in standard bibliographic form and organized into ten or so general categories for convenience. You may copy these abstracts to use in your own research, literature reviews, patient literatrure, articles, etc. Over the next year, Chinese Herbal Medicine will organize about 100 files in this way. The purpose is to provide a convenient up to date resource for busy practitioners and students. The entire database will be accessible for a nominal annual membership fee when it is released. It will be continually updated and will be available to students for a discount. For example, if you are a student writing a paper about cardiovascular herbs, you could easily find current abstracts on dozens of herbs under that heading, without having to configure your own medline searches and then hunt through hundreds of abstracts looking for relevant studies. Plus the medline abstracts are rearranged to cut and paste in standard bibligraphic form, saving another time consuming step. Until the database is released, I will make the prototypes available to current list members for comment. To search the ginseng file for a particular phrase, use the command, " find in page " from the pulldown edit menu in your browser application. /ginseng.org.html
