Guest guest
Todd- I'll check for specific references for you, but in Calif, 1 million/3mil was offered for between $1200 and $1500 a year. Sounded like a pretty good deal. I'll dig through the paperwork for you. Gina
Guest guest
Hi Todd One of the directors of the Massachusetts Acupuncture Society has found an insurance company that will cover malpractice. Her name is Elaine Eliopolis - her phone number is 781-894-2083 and address is 475 Conant Rd Weston MA 02193. She would be an excellent resource for you since she spent most of her senior year looking for companies that would carry malpractice for us. Guest guest
I'm using the American Acupuncture Council... the 1/3 million costs about 1,024 a year. Plus $25 yearly membership. Doesn't state that it covers herbs too, but will cover whatever license allows. Catherine Catherine Hemenway, Dipl. Ac. Balanced Living Acupuncture Tucson, Arizona Talking Turtle Productions, Inc. Guest guest
Normally, individual membership is for practitioners is $220; an optional $55 quarterly payments plus a $10 processing fee is available. However, if I read and understand the newsletter correctly, if you purchase the insurance they will offer reduced membership rates. Reduced rates are listed as $56 for practitioner, or free for 1st and 2nd year practitioners. Malino
