Guest guest
On Peter's inquiry for time-efficient honey pill making: In Taiwan, I saw a tabletop handcrank pill machine--you make a think honey/herb powder paste, then run it through the machine once to make 'pasta' then again to make pills (I think sl. larger than the Chinese patent pills, not as big as the boluses). The machine was very heavy, mostly metal, so shipping would be high. Its retail cost there was about $300. They also had larger, electric machines for making large amounts of pills. If you're serious about buying one, and would be willing to pay 100-200 shipping (?), let me know, and I can have my colleague in Taiwan look for it. Part of the machine which comes into contact with the herbs was, I believe, aluminum. --Kevin
