Can anyone suggest a book or other material in English on methods of

processing Chinese medicinals? I have Philippe Sionneau's Pao Zhi, but

like my other materia medicas, it only gives general instructions,

without quantities or precise directions. (How is the ginger juice for

jiang zhi zhi made, is it diluted with water and in what kind of quantity

is it used?) I'd like to experiment with some of the techniques and

western herbs.

Sadly, this is the only decent text in English at the present time. . .

..other texts have small sections on the subject, but that is about it.
