I would seriously consider gu syndrome, which is often related to

candida, food allergies, etc. The key sx are digestive and mental

and

it is often a dx of exclusion when all else has failed. The formulae

are unusual, but they address spleen xu and yin xu together which

might

be what your patient needs. If the patient has any hx of parasites,

this clinches the gu syndrome dx (though it is not necessary).
