Guest guest
Here is a variation on Todd's letter asking for forgiveness of student loans for US acupuncturists who practice in underserved areas. This asks senators to sponsor parallel legislation to HR1890. You can copy the senate address block into your " To " section on your email program and the letter, with your own name and snailmail address, in the message section. The more they hear from acupuncturists, the mre likely it will be that our services will be extended, geographically and with coverage from governmental programs. .. Many acupuncturists would be well suited to this program. Acupuncturists are often inclined to serve the underprivileged and many are attracted to the rural areas that qualify FSLF programs. In most states, we are trained as independent care providers. While not being able to meet all primary health care needs, we are trained in both emergency techniques and to make appropriate referrals for conventional care. Poor people and those in rural areas also deserve the opportunity to be served with acupuncture, which is an inexpensive, safe form of healthcare. And the licensed acupuncturist may be able to play a vital role in supplementing the shortage of general practice physicians nationwide. Your support of this bill would enable licensed acupuncturists to practice in poor and rural areas and thus support fairness and the availability of cost-effective alternatives in the medical marketplace. In order to accomplish this, would you please sponsor a senatorial equivalent to HR 1890 to empower freedom of choice and socioeconomic fairness for health care access?
