Guest guest
Z'ev and others, I need referrals for a patient of mine with both eating disorder and history of drug & alcohol addiction. Julie is 24 and lives in San Diego. I have been treating her at Mirasol Center for Eating Disorders where I am working, in Tucson. She would like to see a woman practitioner and it should be someone who is comfortable working on emotional level. I would also like to refer her, if she needs it in the future, to a drug/alcohol rehab program that uses acupuncture. If there isn't one in San Diego, then to a female practitioner who works with addictions. TIA, Catherine - Tuesday, May 30, 2000 5:14 PM Re: herb regulation I agree with this accessment. We have to develop our research skills, upgrade our educational degrees and licensing to doctorates, and organizemore effectively with less splintering.>>What is coming down the pike is a continued barrage of PR against toxic herbs>to where both the FDA and CODEX develop regulations that make it very>difficult to use more and more herbal medicines, if not reach the level where>they are essentially banned from commerce.
