Guest guest
Dear Dagmar, I would love to have a brochure. Please have it sent to me at Yo San University, 1314 Second Street, Santa Monica, CA 90401. Yes, indeed, I am in the States, but I like Todd's suggestion, that we spread out more so that we can serve more people. When my last son leaves for college (in about a year), I might be in a position to think about some kind of move. Thank you for your news. Guest guest
Hi Julie, I am in the same position as you. I am in very crowded Miami. I have licenses for Colorado and Idaho and have Montana in the works. When my son graduates high school in 2001 I will be ready to move away from Florida. Guest guest
From what we hear in Seattle, Florida is a very good place to practice - lots of elderly, lots of people with money. Montana is not an easy place to practice according to people who have moved here from there. You may want to reconsider, or try Denver... ---------- >sherrilgol > >Re: Dagmar's news >Wed, Jun 7, 2000, 6:02 AM > >Hi Julie, I am in the same position as you. I am in very crowded Miami. Guest guest
as a practitioner in Fla. I have to say that it is a tough market. I believe that Fla is the 4th highest state on the list of licensed acupuncuncture physicians. Don't even count on the elderly population...yes they need our expertise but in general if medicare doesn't pay they're not coming...and guess what? medicare doesn't pay. Even though there are MANY acupuncturists in this state it's still a viable market...but you best be competent, know how to run your business and know how to market yourself. Aside from these factors it's a day at the beach!
