Guest guest
This frequency of treatment discussion is another interesting area of debate, but most of the current posts are probably moving outside the scope of this forum. Thus, I'd like to see this thread weave into a discussion of how this issue relates to chinese herbal medicine practice, not start an acupuncture tangent. For instance, in my experience, frequent contact with the patient has benefits far beyond the actual therapy given. It is a time to reinforce regimen, which seems to be a key point in the scenario Ken describes in China. I find failure to follow regimen to be the leading cause of failure in my practice and anything I can do to reinforce it dramatically improves results. , " heiko " <heiko@l...> wrote: > Luke > I still get results and I don't believe the results would be faster with > daily treatment.I don't have to give strong de qi to westerners and my herb > scripts > have smaller dosages than for Chinese patients. > > Heiko Lade > Registered Acupuncturist / Chinese Herbalist > 2 Jenkins St. > Green Island, Dunedin > New Zealand > Tel: (03) 488 4086, Fax: (03) 488 4012 > http://www.lade.com/heiko > Email: heiko@l... This may not be as esoteric as some of the topics that may be within the " scope of this forum " . Go with the flow...
