This underscores the point that it is considered unethical to practice medicine without regularly reading journals in your field. It is not reasonable to rely on textbooks for this type of info. JCM first reported this years ago and it is the most widely read journal in our field. ITM and Lotus has written extensively on this, also. We HAVE been in the lead on this, in my opinion. Now, many schools and STATE organizations seem to have dropped the ball, though.
