Does anyone know of any oficial research on low back pain and acupuncure.

In NZ at the moment the government wants to cut their insurance on

acupuncturists claiming for back pain.Doctors have informed the insurance

company that acupuncture is only usefull for tennis elbow!!!

 

if anyone can direct me to articles etc it would be much appreciated.

Are you familiar with the book called Acupuncture Efficacy:

and Richard Hammerschlag?
