MediCare bill - HR 1890 - may be ready to move to a vote in Committee - BY

THIS WEEKEND!!

 

SIMPLIFIED INSTRUCTIONS.......

Pick up your phone and call 202-224-3121 - the Capitol Switchboard.

Ask for your Congressional Representave's office (look in the front of your

phone book if you really don't know who they are)

Sample dialogue----

" Hello, my name is _____. I live in (city), in Congressman Smith's district.

I would like to ask to the Congressman to support HR1890, which may be

coming up for a vote this week. "

They will probably ask for your address.

 

Then, tell everyone else you know to do the same!!!

HR 1890 (Hinchey) will ....

" amend title XVIII of the Social Security Act to provide for coverage

of qualified acupuncturist services under part B of the Medicare Program,

and to amend title 5, United States Code, to provide for coverage of

such services under the Federal Employees Health Benefits Program. "
