Guest guest
I'd like some ideas on treating a 10 year old for bedwetting. He is dry 4-6 nights a week. Apparently sleeps so deeply that he doesn't wake up to urinate- probably occurs around 4-5 am. A strong, robust boy, overweight, rarely ill, diet tends to too many sweets and starches. Behaviour very responsive to dips in blood sugar- turns into a bear if he doesn't eat on time and can be moody. Drinks frequently during the day. Checked negative for diabetes. Articulate, dyslexic, unable to admit to failings, hero-worships older brother and gives up physical activity he craves to be with him. Tongue not remarkable- pale red, thin white coat, slightly dry. Pulses strong with tendency to dampness which is not currently pronounced. He has responded to treatment on kidney points, warming of digestion, and relieving depression. His homeopathic constitutional remedy is avena. Dampness has been significantly reduced. He's requested a syrup based treatment he can take to camp to help him stop bedwetting. I've been thinking of a Chinese rasberry, cuscuta seed base with oatstraw for the shen and lesser amounts of dioscoria, morinda and gan cao, decocted, reduced and made into a syrup. Any suggestions?
