Guest guest
Howard (1) When I was in China they taught us to just wipe the skin once as if you go back and forwards you just wipe the dirt back and forwards. In Australia now the diabetic association is reviewing whether to swab at all!!!There is evidence that you are better off NOT to swab. As for me ...I stopped swabbing ages ago and so have a lot of our other members...though officially we still do. (2)I have never felt the de qi with plastic serins as I can with the Chinese metal handles. But if you practise Japanese acupuncture you don't need to get de qi (like you do in China anyway) so it probably doesn't make a difference.Serins are much more expensive ...in NZ anyway Heiko Lade Registered Acupuncturist / Chinese Herbalist 2 Jenkins St. Green Island, Dunedin New Zealand Tel: (03) 488 4086, Fax: (03) 488 4012 http://www.lade.com/heiko Email: heiko
