Guest guest
Karen, I cannot describe akebia mu tong, but I will try to get a sample from John Chen and let you know next week. The guang mu tong (aristolochia) that I have always used is light brown, thin woody chips, about the size of dimes and quarters, thinner than Ze Xie and thicker than Sang Zhi, but similar to both. I was told in John's seminar that akebia mu tong and aristolochia mu tong would be rather difficult to tell apart, but I will let you know more next week.
