Guest guest
Hi Actually, most of the drop in PSA occured in the last 30 days, between early May and early June. Very little change between March and May when it suddenly took a nose dive. I might speculate, had the clot not occured, that the pc-spes would have proven to be highly effective. It just took a while to get started. As far as side effects are concerned, I feel it is the superior product and best of all, least likely to become refractive. Becomming refractive is a great concerm when using western systemic medicatations. When that happens, " chemo " is the next choice and, I fear, a bad outcome. I switched to triple hormone blockade to avoid exacerbating the clotting problem. I should hve put myself on Coumadin whilst using the pc-spes. My mistake. Taking 6 months to get from a PSA of 2.3 to " undetectable " is not too impressive using the western stuff. It is considered, in some circles to be about the maximum time to use it and avoid the potential for becoming refractive, even with pc-spes. Cheers, R.
