Howdie,

I have just d and Todd has invited me to provide a brief intro of

myself as confirmation.

I graduated from the Oregon College of Oriental Medicine June '99 and am

currently working at Creative Wellness Holistic Health Center in East

Lansing, MI. We have a team of 3 DOs, 1 ND, a hypnotherapist, a rolfer, a

trager practitioner, a chiropractor who also practices ayurveda, about 14

massage therapists, and myself. (Obviously, it's a great place to get some

free health care).

There are about 6 or 7 other acupuncturists in town (one reason I left

Portland). Of those 6 or 7, all of them use Chinese herbal patents and one

of them uses granules. As far as I know, I'm the only one in a 60 mile

radius using raw herbs, as well as granules and patents.

The place I work has done some incredible marketing, so our name is known

and it has resulted in several speaking engagements. I'm excited to be

offering a presentation this coming Thursday to a conference of about 75

physicians on Using Acupuncture and Chinese Herbal Medicine to Treat Pain

and Suffering at End of Life.

Anyway, that's me.

In the meantime, anyone have any suggestions or thoughts on acupuncture

combinations to treat Systemic Lupus Erythematosus?

Jeff Gould
