Dear Group,

Thank you for requesting a brief introduction about myself.

I graduated from Acupuncture Colleges (Australia) in 1978, and graduated

from their supplementary course in 1979. Set up and ran the first Chinese

Herbal Medicine course in Australia employing Mr. Hoc Ku Huynh as lecturer.

Worked with Hoc Ku Huynh on Pulse Diagnosis which was published by Paradigm

in 1985. Self-published a number of other TCM texts, several of which are

now being used in Australian universities and TCM colleges. Was appointed

Department head, and lecturer of Traditional , and

acupuncture clinic supervisor at the short lived Nature Care College TCM

course. Worked with Dr. Wen Jian Min on Warm Disease Theory which is about

to be published by Paradigm. Was appointed Principal of the Sydney College

of TCM (now known as the Sydney Institute), established a sound financial

and academic base, and was then dismissed. Collected, integrated, and

documented input from all interested members of the TCM profession on the

Guidelines for a National TCM Curriculum at Tertiary Level: A Project of the

National TCM Liaison Committee Australia, and presented this document for

evaluation by the TCM liaison committee. Worked as a Co-researcher on a

study of the use of traditional Chinese medicine amongst English speaking

Australians. Dept. of Social Work and Social Policy, University of Sydney,

published March 1997. Am currently undertaking a Masters degree by

coursework in Herbal Medicine at Sydney University (materials pertain mainly

to quality assurance).
