Guest guest
According to one of my Icelandic (!) students, who I asked about this today, acupuncture is un-regulated in Iceland and any one can call themselves an acupuncturist. Not unlike Arizona )as it was a few years ago at least). There are very few Chinese herbs there. I believe she said they wouldn't be allowed by their FDA. Not surprising since there are very, very few Chinese people in Iceland, although in recent years some have immigrated. In fact, few people from any where have immigrated to Iceland. (who would have thought)... So Iceland is not yet a melting pot (too cold), it retains its unique Icelandicness. doug > > Is anyone knowledgeable about the laws in Iceland for the practice of > > acupuncture and herbal medicine? > >Iceland... where moxibustion is king! > >Hey, if anybody finds out, CC me on that too.
