Guest guest
How can proper clinical trials be designed if we lack a shared understanding of what the nomenclature of the subject means? Does anyone else find it ironic that in one day's postings we read that we have to get scientific validation, that we don't have a clear grasp of what this term " slightly cold " means, and that we are annoying people with our discussions of terminology? Guest guest
Right on, Ken. If we don't develop a knowledge of the technical language of Chinese medicine, and develop a shared understanding, the biomedical validation (as opposed to scientific, as Chinese medicine IS a science) will simply replace the technical language, and the subject of Chinese medicine will virtually disappear. > > > > How can proper clinical trials be designed > if we lack a shared understanding of what > the nomenclature of the subject means? > > Does anyone else find it ironic that in > one day's postings we read that we have > to get scientific validation, that we > don't have a clear grasp of what this > term " slightly cold " means, and that we > are annoying people with our discussions > of terminology?
