Guest guest
I don't know if y'all know about this little distributor from the northwest - People's Herbs - or how their prices compare to those of other companies, but they seem pretty good to me. I have no stake in the company whatsoever, and they have no idea I'm pimping them to the CHA. While I use bulk herbs almost exclusively (and never granules), these guys specialize in powdered extracts that I think are quite good. The ones I'm most pleased with currently are: -eleutherococcus (ci wu jia) 28:1 extract, 0.8% eleutherosides, on sale until the end of the year for $6 for 100g. -cordyceps (dong chong xia cao) extract, >10% polysaccharides, on sale for $9 for 100g. or a 4:1 extract with 40% polysaccharides (!!) for $39 for 100g. -dan shen, 10:1 extract, $11 for 100g -ganoderma (ling zhi), 20:1 extract, 10% polysaccharides, $27 for 100g -coptis (huang lian), 10:1, 100g for $16 (Prices, of course, get better for larger quantities, and they have some kind of 20% off coupon for first time orders) They're at 503/723-3765 or 800/270-5760 One problem these things have is that they're quite hygroscopic, so they'll easily cake after a while if you leave them out. The coptis, in particular, I've had great experience with. Anyway, if anyone is getting better deals, please let me know. And if anyone is offended by the use of this space for advertising, excuse me.

I have used their 28:1 eleuthero, which makes me think this, given the unusual concentration factor. > And if anyone is offended by the use of this space for advertising, excuse me. we all share our biases about products and suppliers. I mention springwind frequently, for example. I don't consider this advertising. china Herb can be reached at 503-723-9779. BTW, blue poppy (who I no longer represent) uses these or similar extracts in their line of patents, making them the strongest and mpost affordable on the market, in my experience. In addition, ITM uses them in their White tiger line of supplements (itmonline.org)
