Guest guest
Both my former teacher Guohui Liu and Dan Bensky list Tian Ma as neutral, yet both speak of it as a warm herb - with the potential to harm Yin, since it is also eliminates dampness [see Bensky & Gamble, pp 424 (neutral), 430 (warm)]. Michael & Lesley Tierra state that Tian Ma actually has Yin nourishing properties. What do you all think? Is it neutral or warm? Does it affect the Yin? ======================== Peter Borten, L.Ac. 4004 SW Kelly Ave, Suite 201 Portland, OR 97201 503.522.2613
