Guest guest
Does anybody know which herbs might produce a false positive for a urine test for cannibis use? Excluding perhaps Huo Ma Ren. : ) -- Al Stone L.Ac. <AlStone http://www.BeyondWellBeing.com Pain is inevitable, suffering is optional. The species most often mentioned is leonorus sibiricus, commonly know to afficionados as siberian motherwort. Another related plant is leonotous leonorus, which is called wildedagga in south africa. some may also know that some part of south africa call cannabis dagga. this is relevant because both wildedagga and siberian motherwort are also smoked for ritual and recreational purposes in their respective regions. I am not familiar with the name or structure of the chemical in question, but the fact that it binds with the anandamide receptor suggests that it might also have some effect on a drug test. So perhaps chinese motherwort/yi mu cao may contain some of these same constituents, considering they are closely related and grown in the same part of the world, roughly speaking. Otherwise, I know of no other plant that has related compounds.

Guest guest
No, but goldenseal does NOT work to create false negatives. And Canadian huo ma ren probably will not give false positives since any contaminating resins are removed (but may have less laxative effect due to partial dehusking).
