Guest guest
All, I hope everyone is having a pleasant holiday season. I am tremendously encouraged to know that there are people thinking about teaching; discussing how it can be better, and talking openly about the improvements they feel to be needed. This, in my opinion, is the foundation of both a robust teaching profession and the field's future. What I find particularly hopeful is that we have reached a level of maturity where the status quo can be openly questioned. I am powerfully encouraged to know that we have achieved enough confidence in our own future that we can welcome challenge and debate. I am equally pleased to see the of development of a public debate about the transmission of Chinese medicine. It is only by understanding writers' assumptions and assertions that we can understand their perspective, their approach and the best, most appropriate use of their work. I would like to thank Todd who has accepted the steady burden of maintaining these lists, Z'ev, Alon, Al and all whose posts makes these services so valuable a contribution. My best wishes to all for the coming year. Bob bob Paradigm Publications www.paradigm-pubs.com 44 Linden Street Robert L.
