Guest guest
Mark I worked in Sydney Chinatown for about 15 years and what you observed is normal Chinese buisness practise. They ethically feel that if the client is a solicitor he should be charged more. If I had a new client they would ask me how much can we charge this person? As they became regular clients they would often put up the costs gradually. In the end I just excepted thats how they do things.
