Sorry to take so long to get back to you. I was out of town, and then just swamped with getting caught up. I did not write an article about using Dang Gui for coughs. But, I did translate an article on coughs due to cool and dry. And I used this translation to help answer a question that was raised in the Australian and Research Council newsletter. So, that is how you might have heard about this. I've enclosed both a copy of the translation, and my response to the question in the ACMRC newsletter. My translation skills are rough, so any errors are entirely my own. But, I think it gives some good ideas about how cool and dry injure the lung in a certain way, and how to treat that problem. You are welcome to share this information on the Chinese Academy herb group, and with anyone else who may find it to be of value. I hope you find this information to be useful.
