We no longer live close to each other and I am not sure I can reconstruct these cases from memory because who oftenworked with pateints for 6-18 months. BTW, she was a bulk enthusiast, but later switched to using a lot of powders and she is a big fan of these extracts, believing them to be equal in potency to bulk. But she usually gave about 15-16 g/day! Not cheap, but they worked wonders. she always told me patents were not for practicing medicine; they were for laypeople because they did little real good, but no real harm. Its no coincidence that so many of the most popular brands of patents turned out to have drugs in them. After I became aware of this and began using nondrug versions of bi yan pian, all my patients complained it didn't work anymore. Same with yin qiao san and others. I don't even bother anymore.
