Guest guest
One of the patients at the eating disorder clinic where I practice has an almost neon bright, shiny yellow tongue coat, just lateral to the center. It's smooth and has a chemical look to it, and she has not been able to scrape it off. It is associated with a metallic taste in her mouth, a precursor to migraine headaches. I would have thought it to be from a medication. But from the timing seems unrelated. She is taking a variety of supplements but no western meds. She reports that it comes and goes and she has noticed it for the past few months. Has anyone seen anything like this before? The spleen is producing zhuo/turbidity, producing a shiny yellow coat.
