Guest guest
Catherine The metallic taste makes me think of dampness and herbs like pei lan ( from Clavey's book) . As the coat is in the centre , ie digestive area, it seems to suggest a stagnation of a damp type heat. Migraines in my experience are more commonly seen with liver yang rising type patterns but in this case dampness obstructing middle jiao seems more apparent and then preventing clear yang from ascending. Supplements , eg vit B's are warming to hot ( comments welcolme !) and may be the cause of the yellow Tongue.
