Guest guest
Dear Members: I would like to take a moment to introduce myself to the members of this group. My name is Phillip Reynes and I live and practice in Denver Colorado (I am also licenced in New Mexico). My Masters in TCM was the fifth master in my long educational career. I also hold masters degrees in mathematics, geology, military science, and physics. I first became interested in TCM in 1985 when I went to China and lived at Wu Dong Shan, a Taoist monastery. I stayed there twice, the first time for 11 months and the second time for 7 months. The medicine I saw there (both herbal and acupuncture) was strikingly different from what I later was taught in school, which as you all know is based on the communist interpretation of the medicine. I attended the International Institute of in Santa Fe new Mexico. After graduation I moved to Denver and have been in practice here and teaching here for six years. I also am currently teaching at the Colorado School of Traditional . I teach Basic Theory and TCM Internal Medicine at this school. I have also taught at IICM and the now defunct CSAOM (Colorado School of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine). I read Chinese, and a number of other languages, and am not a native English speaker. I grew up in the Pyrenees between Spain and France. I specialize in the treatment of chronic Progressive M.S., Primary Liver Cancer, Esophageal Cancer, Asthma, but also see a fair variety of other complaints. I am interested in a verity of medical issues especial TCM education. I am most definitely not a mixer in the sense that I do not use non TCM modalities and I could be considered a bulk herb snob. I look forward to talking to all of you on line. Phillip Reynes, D.O.M.,Reg. Ac.
