Kelly: As far as heb treatment it always depended on accompanying symptoms

and signs. We used everything from Chai Hu shu gan san, Xue fu zhu yu tang,

Xiao Chai hu tang, Tong Xie Yao Feng, Xiao Yao San, Yi Guan Jian, YinChen Wu

Ling San...Individual herbs to note were Lei Gong Tong (sp), chi shao to

decrease bilirubin (30-60g), dan shen for fibrosis of liver, bei jia + san

reng for splenomegaly,.... " remember most cases of Hep B are asymptomatic.

Hope that helps.

Thanks Kelly

Wow, 60 grams of chi shao seems so huge!!!

It wasn't too much for the spleen, too cold I mean. Did they keep patients on

such a large dose for a long time....eg 1 week, 1 month, ??or just until the

bilirubin went down?Did they add spleen type herbs eg bai zhu to the formula to

moderate it?
