Guest guest
This may sound really basic but Bensky and others use the phrase ‘harmonize the blood’ - I am unsure what this means. Harmonizing it with what? Doesn’t it take two things to harmonize something? What exactly is a herb doing when this is listed as a function? Moving xue while simultaneously nourishing? Is it by default supposed to mean ‘harmonize qi and blood’? 1) Wiseman makes no reference to this phrase. Yet ‘wiseman’ members on this list use it.?? 2) Dang gui harmonizes the blood 3) Mei gui hua harmonizes the blood 4) Ji xue teng moves xue and tonifies blood, but it is not mentioned to harmonize the xue. 5) Hong hua in small doses harmonizes the blood, but there is no mention of tonifing? What is going on here? Any thoughts? -
