Yesterday I was talking to a friend about Chineses medicine and they asked if

there has

been any success treating Childhood Epilepsy. His 6 year old daughter has

recently been diagnosed and he is looking at all possible treatments

modalities.

Is this a condition that can be treated with TCM?

Are there any practitioners in San Diego who specialize in Kids/Epilepsy?

For my own education, would this usually classed as a Phlegm condition??

Thanks, Kayte

Dear Kayte,

The Epilepsy have to combines herb and points in

different period of time. To me it is some kind of virus, that the child was

born by that way, there are also many kind of epilepsy, and it spress in

many different ways. Not only spasm. It hard to deal with, but it can be

cured. I have pretty good experience of treating them. But to help 100% it

need the time and different treatment on the body signal. The main thing,

need herbs, depend on what kind of epilepsy the patient get, sometime from

heart, sometime from kidney, sometime from liver and we have to know where

it com from to treat them. So you need the correct diagnosis to deal with

them. The MD pills only cover the problem, do not kill the problem.
